Julphar announces launch of Dexcom G4 PLATINUM in Jordan

Julphar has announced the upcoming launch of the real-time continuous glucose monitoring device (CGM), Dexcom G4 PLATINUM in Jordan. 

The announcement was made during Julphar’s participation in the European Association for the Study of Diabetes – The National Center for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Genetics (EASD – NCDEG) Postgraduate Education Course event, which took place in Amman, Jordan, from July 14th to 16th 2016. 

The Julphar Diabetes booth introduced Dexcom G4 PLATINUM to the Minister of Health, His Excellency Dr Mahmoud Al Shiyab, and in the honorable presence of the following officials: His Excellency Prof Kamel Ajlouni, the President of NCDEG and Chairman of the conference, Major General Muin Al Habashnah, MD, Director General of the Royal Medical Services of Jordan, Dr Ali El Bous, President of the Jordan Medical Association, Prof Mohamaed Al Zaheri, Head of Scientific Committee and Dr Rashad Naser, President of the Jordanian Society of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. 

Dexcom G4 PLATINUM supports diabetic patients in easily and conveniently monitoring their glucose level around-the-clock. The device provides patients with alarms that alert them when they are outside their target zone so they can take action and avoid potential health risks.
