Julphar celebrates UAE Flag Day

Julphar celebrated today the UAE Flag Day. His Highness Sheikh Faisal Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the company, hoisted the national flag above the head office building of Ras Al Khaimah, in the presence of the Chief Executive Officer, Dr Ayman Sahli.

 

Julphar employees gathered at 11AM to raise the flag and come together to remember, contemplate and celebrate what the flag stands for. Flag Day is a day where all the people of the UAE, both Emiratis and expatriates, come together and take pride in what they have.

 

Julphar’s activities included raising the UAE flag above Julphar’s head office followed by the national Anthem and Flag’s oath.

 

With the ceremony, Julphar emphasizes the quote of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai that “Our flag is no ordinary symbol nor coloured fabric... it is a reflection of what who we are what we hold dear.” On Flag Day, the company is keen to reflect its values of loyalty and belonging to the country, in line with its vision to become a sustainable world-class utility.
