Julphar hosts 3rd edition of orthopedic meeting TOP

Julphar has conducted the 3rd wave of its orthopedic meeting TOP – Together Ortho Panel on March 3rd, 2017 during an event chaired by Dr Ali Al Belooshi, Assistant Professor at the UAE University and Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at the City Hospital on the uses of the advanced and innovative techniques of knee replacement (Anthem knee system). The international meeting was first launched during a kick-off event held in Prague last year.

 

During the meeting, internationally-renowned speaker Dr Osama Attia, Consultant Orthopedic and Spine Surgery at Mediclinic Middle East addressed the audience of over 30 invited doctors, and updated the participants on the benefits of the minimally invasive surgery (MIS) – the endoscopic surgery – over the tubular lumbar discectomy.

 

TOP represents an opportunity for Julphar to support orthopedicians by sharing with them the latest techniques in orthopedic surgery. Overall, it helps them contribute to a better healthcare in the region.
