Julphar launches its first annual Pediatric Club

Julphar launched its first Pediatric Primary Care Club in UAE during an accredited Continuous Medical Education program, which took place at the Fairmont the Palm Hotel, Dubai on October 7th, 2016.

The launch event was attended by 65 key pediatricians from UAE and was the opportunity for the speakers Dr Antoine Farah, Chairman of Pediatrics at Saint Louis Hospital, France and Dr Zareen Fasih, Consultant Neonatologist at the Gulf Medical University, UAE to share with the audience the latest updates on asthma and cough management for children.

“Julphar has an ethical obligation toward healthcare professional community and patients for healthier and happier life, thus Pediatric Care Club is intended to be an annual forum gathering pediatricians from all UAE in a scientific and friendly environment to strengthen existing partnerships and share common knowledge,” said Dr Hosam Badr, Marketing Director at Julphar.

The annual accredited CME program was also the opportunity for the RAK-based company to launch Ivy-Calm in UAE, the natural herbal extract of ivy leaf syrup that has an anti-bacterial effect and a wide range of benefits – such as easing coughing, relieving bronchial spasms and thinning mucus.
