Julphar’s employees show CSR commitment with blood donation
On the morning of February 2nd, Julphar showed its continuous dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by successfully hosting a voluntary blood donation drive at its head office of Ras Al Khaimah.
The social responsibility initiative was organized conjointly with the Saqr Hospital of Ras Al Khaimah (Blood Donation Unit), under the supervision of the Sharjah Blood Transfusion & Research Center whose team of medical experts ensured the drive was operated in a safe and clean way. All Julphar employees were encouraged to give blood and more than 50 of them volunteered to support hospitals and healthcare centers in maintaining blood bank stock, and contribute to the health of thousands of people in the UAE.
The today blood donation activity isn’t the first of its kind for Julphar. Similar campaigns take place once or twice a year, and each time a massive number of Julphar blood donors respond positively to the call.
