Partner MSD visits Julphar’s head office
On October 20th, thirty medical representatives and sales team members from the UAE office of the healthcare leader MSD visited Julphar head office in Ras Al Khaimah for a three-hour tour of Julphar facilities.
During that tour – and for the first time, the MSD team had the opportunity to see the latest advanced technology of Julphar and got to know more about the way Julphar operates as a key pharmaceutical manufacturer in the region. The visit aimed to increase the relationship between the two parties and was set on the occasion of the Julphar/MSD products launch. At the end of the day, feedback from the visitors was very positive.
“To start business and to collaborate with a big pharmaceutical company such as MSD is a very important step for Julphar, and an honor”, said Dr. Hosam Badr, Marketing Director at Julphar. “It portrays our company as one of the key manufacturers of high-quality medicines in the Middle East region, and a partner of trust.”
This visit has been part of the strategic partnership signed in April 2014 between MSD and Julphar which grants Julphar rights to commercialize and distribute five MSD products across the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Iraq – for an initial period of five years.
