ANEMIA IN CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE (CKD) LIBYA STANDALONE MEETING

On Monday 5th Dec. 2022, witnessed a unique scientific discussion between 25 Nephrologists from the top KOLs in Libya about the management of anemia in CKD patients. This discussion followed an interesting lecture about this topic presented by a well renowned international expert in the field of Nephrology Dr. Kyriaki Stamatelou who highlighted the burden of this disease and the role of Epotin as a high quality, cost effective biosimilar in helping those patients. The event was closed by a word from Dr. Badreddin Shaibany (Director General of Azzawiyah Kidney Center) elaborating on the importance of treating anemia in Libyan CKD patients and thanking Julphar for the efforts done to elevate the awareness about this critical condition.
