Campaign for Early Detection of Breast Cancer

In collaboration between Central Medical Center and Saqr Hospital, an important campaign for early detection of breast cancer was held yesterday, Wednesday, August 9, 2023, under the slogan "from you the initiative, and from us the hope" The campaign started from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM.

The campaign targeted all women over the age of forty, where medical examinations were provided under the supervision of a specialized medical team based on international standards and recommendations. This campaign comes as part of the strategy of the Ministry of Health and Central Medical Center to enhance women's awareness of the importance of breast cancer prevention, with the aim of supporting and empowering women in various fields and enhancing their effective participation.

The campaign witnessed a remarkable turnout, as the healthcare team was able to examine 32 women, which reflects the public's awareness of the importance of this examination.

At the end of this successful event, Mr. Mohammed Saif and Dr. Humaid Al Hashemi honored Dr. Mona Al Ayan, director of Saqr Hospital, and all the members of the team participating in this event, in recognition of their continuous and distinguished efforts in promoting awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
