Martyrs honored at Julphar for UAE National Day

Sheikh Faisal Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of Julphar Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries, and CEO Dr. Ayman Sahli both participated in the ceremony organized by Julphar in its head office of Ras Al Khaimah to celebrate the 44th UAE National Day.

 

The National Day is a bright event celebrating the Spirit of the Union and an inspirational source of proudness for all its people. It is a day to highlight the exemplary nature and the leading personality of the UAE founding father, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

 

The Commemoration Day benefits to the country’s political stability and economic prosperity, as well as to our international relations built upon a foundation of fairness, balance and legitimacy – positively reflected on our people’s welfare.

 

“In this important day for our history, we all stand full of pride and fondness for our country”, said Sheikh Faisal. “We are also honoring our fallen heroes who have given their lives to keep the UAE flag high and to defend their land for the values of rightness and fairness, which we all believe in. Their sacrifice is a source of proudness for our leaders, which drives them in their blessing journey.”

 

The cultural activities held during the day at Julphar included recitation of Quranic verses and lectures on the heroism of the nation’s martyrs. A military group parade was also held to enhance the UAE’s proud military heritage and children were invited on stage to perform patriotic shows for those who have been killed for the sake of their national duty.
